The 16-port KM0216 Matrix KVM Switch from Aten Technology offers enhanced control of servers and is flexible enough for various other applications. It allows two users to directly control 16 computers simultaneously and independently. A maximum of 16 users and 1024 computers can be connected through a combination of daisy chaining and cascading. The RJ-45 CPU connections and Auto Signal Compensation (ASC) allow signals to travel up to 500 feet (150 meters) away and still maintain video resolutions; the need for KVM extenders is eliminated. All 16 ports are placed in a 1U-high case. This switch allows any type of console to control any type of computer, whether it is USB or PS/2. The users on the master KVM can access any computer, whether it is connected directly or through daisy chain/cascading.
