8-Port CCM850 Serial Console Management Appliance

The 8-port Avocent CCM850 console management appliance provides secure in-band and out-of-band connections to console ports of servers and serially managed devices such as network hubs, routers, switches, and power management systems. The console manager features offline history buffering and hardware break suppression. The Avocent AVWorks cross-platform management application comes bundled with the CCM850 appliance and offers easy local or remote management of serially managed devices. For small to mid-sized data centers, the CCM console management appliances can be configured for stand-alone operation. In this mode, user accounts and permissions can be stored within the CCM appliance or on an external RADIUS server.
