The Matrix N3 is a modular 3-slot chassis that supports standards-based 802.3af PoE for connecting VoIP phones, wireless access points and remote security scanners and cameras, eliminating the need for individual power sources for these devices. The Matrix N3 also supports Distributed Forwarding Engines (DFE) for an aggregate performance of up to 40.5 Mbps.
