LANsmart will also generate tones to help find the corresponding cables; users can send out auto negotiation signals to find the corresponding hub/switch ports. LANsmart is compact, ergonomic, and easy to operate. Its advance functionality and versatility make LANsmart an all-in-one tester suitable for all professional technicians and installers. Features: Tests RJ45, Cat5, Cat6, utp and Sto for opens, shorts, miswirings, reversals, split pairs, and shield continuity. Compatible with any twisted pair category 3/4/5 and 6 cables. Incorporates TDR (Time Domain Reflectometer) Technology. Built-in PORTfinder locates corresponding jacks on hubs/switches. Measures length on utp and Sto cable without remotes. Increases measuring accuracy with its Velocity of Propagation Adjustable Calibration ability for non-standard cables. Displays in both meters (m) and feet (ft).
