Extreme Networks BlackDiamond 6800 G24T is a 24 port 10/100/1000Base-T copper Gigabit Ethernet module based on advanced Triumph technology. Each of the 24 ports can support up to a full gigabit of throughput. The G24T supports T-Control, an advanced traffic management feature that enables you to track and control the amount of bandwidth each port receives. It allows the switch to guarantee any level of bandwidth (from 1 kbps to 1Gbps) to any port on the module. You need not worry about any one application or port monopolizing bandwidth. You can now assign a minimum and maximum amount of bandwidth to every port and dynamically configure that bandwidth as network conditions change. As an added benefit, the G24T tracks and maintains detailed throughput statistics so you can analyze usage trends and maximize network efficiency.
