NETGEAR's WAGL102 ProSafe 802.11 a/g Dual Band Wireless Access Point delivers the secure, reliable, high performance wireless local area networks (WLANs) that mobile workforce demands. The WAGL102 Access Point supports both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz radio transmission with up to 108 Mbps in both 802.11 g and 802.11 a in turbo mode. Additionally, it supports up to 128 simultaneous wireless clients and client types within the same coverage area. The incorporated IEEE 802.3 af Power over Ethernet (PoE) port expands installation options by eliminating the need to locate the Light Wireless Access Point near a power outlet. In addition, it is Wi-Fi certified and plenum rated so allows for placement above drop-down ceilings and under raised floors. Equipped with two powerful detachable 5 dBi antennas and compatible with NETGEARs ProSafe 2.4 GHz antennas, the WAGL102 Wireless Access Point offers expanded wireless capacity and range.
