The 2.5mm adapter converts the proprietary port on your phone to an industry standard 2.5mm female port. This adapter is not compatible with wired headsets using a Microphone Volume adjustment, or a Microphone Mute feature. However, headsets that have the Earpiece Volume adjustment, but no Microphone Volume adjustment will work.
