This professional-quality case, from Tamrac's TEK(TM) Series Broadcast and Cinematography line, provides excellent protection and mobility for the latest smaller camcorders such as the Canon XL1(TM)*. Slightly larger than the 2248, the 2249 is specially designed to accommodate the XL1(TM) with the MA-100 Microphone Adapter/Shoulder Pad attached and fully extended. The 2249 will fit in the overhead compartment of major airlines. Constructed of 1000 Denier waterproofed Cordura(R), the zipper-opening main compartment is completely foam padded and reinforced with plastic armor for excellent equipment protection. There is additional foam-padded armored protection for the view finder.
